Testing… Testing

This isn’t for everyone, but it does concern your health and your welfare. I am sitting here trying to open up a website and my computer started doing things computers do like i.e. not-responding, buffering, blinking. It made me think, if we experience a large blackout we couldn’t use our phones or computers, and other electronic devices. That brought me back to Covid, which I call a plague, (1 million US deaths and 10-15 million global deaths) and I’m wondering, as a society, if we passed that test.

However the case, I think we are currently presented with an opportunity to prepare for the probability of a significant interruption to normalcy. The inability to use your electronic devices is an interruption to life as we know it.

So I encourage you for physical and mental health reasons, to plan. Consider how you may spend time to fill the electronic void. I’m thinking about the books I have never or partially read, the closet and the garage that can be organized. I used to do puzzles all the time. Maybe you like board games or card games or coloring. Start mapping out an exercise routine.

Consider resources you need to maintain your sanity, peace and health to manage the next disruption to normalcy.

Prepare for the next test.
